Back to School at Scholarship Prep South Bay

Scholarship Prep has implemented a dress code in order to create a sense of unity and ensure a more inclusive environment.

At the beginning of the academic year, each student is provided with one Scholarship Prep sweatshirt and two polos. Distribution typically occurs at the Meet Your Teacher event before the first day of school.

What are the Dress Code Guidelines?

• Navy or White Polo, Button Up, or Sweatshirt
• Khaki, Navy Blue Bottoms (pants, shorts, skirts) or
• Blue or Black Jeans

What Items Are Not Allowed?

• Gym clothes
• Leggings
• Jeans with rips
• Sweatpants
• Sweatshirts with designs or logos that are not Scholarship Prep

Where Can Dress Code Items be Purchased?

Families may purchase dress code items that follow the guidelines above at any store, such as Wal-Mart, Old Navy, French Toast, The Children's Place, Kohl's, or Target. Iron-on logo patches are available at the front office.

Loaners

Students not following the dress code will wear a "loaner" uniform or receive a call home.

Scholarship Prep provides all school supplies and materials students will need throughout the school day. All your child will need to bring is a backpack to transport items to and from school.

In order to comply with city permitting requirements and to ensure student safety, families are not permitted to walk students onto campus on school days. We will provide detailed information for our speedy and convenient valet drop-off and pick-up procedures during our virtual orientation session and future communications.

We invite all enrolled families to explore our campus with your student before school begins at our Meet Your Teacher event on Thursday, August 7th, from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM.

Our first day of school is a full day of learning! School begins at 8:15 AM and ends at 3:00 PM.

Breakfasts and lunches are available free to all students each school day. There are no sign ups required. 

Scholarship Prep South Bay's Before and After School Program is offered free of charge to students enrolled at our schools through our partnership with Arc. Registration is required (one registration for each student).

• Monday - Thursday: 3:15 pm to 6:00 pm

We welcome applications for the 2025-2026 school year! While some grade levels currently have waitlists, we still have limited openings in select grades. Submitting an application ensures your spot on the waitlist and keeps you informed about future enrollment opportunities. Details about open enrollment and our 2026-2027 lottery will be announced this fall.
