Meet Your Principal

Allison Vann is entering her 5th year as the Principal of Scholarship Prep South Bay and brings 20 years of experience in public education, charter school leadership, and district leadership. Her expertise spans school culture, compliance, operations, assessments, and working with students who have experienced trauma.

A California native from Cerritos, Mrs. Vann pursued her college education at the University of Nebraska, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree. After graduating, she began her teaching career in Arizona, gaining invaluable experience in the classroom before transitioning into leadership roles. She later earned her Master’s in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University and is currently pursuing her Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership with a focus on K-12 leadership.

As a dedicated and passionate leader, Principal Vann is committed to empowering educators, fostering academic excellence, and ensuring that every student has the support and resources needed to succeed. She believes in the power of education to transform communities and works tirelessly to create an environment where students feel safe, valued, and inspired to reach their full potential.

Beyond her work in education, Mrs. Vann is a devoted wife and mother to four vibrant and athletic children aged 20, 18, 18, and 12. She is deeply invested in serving the community, building strong relationships with families, and leading with integrity, vision, and heart.
